Hubby's fam is in MN too - Minneapolis, Pequot Lakes, and Mankato - and they said they are frozen to the bone!
I grew up not far from you, and I def remember those wayyyyyyyyy below zero days. Don't miss them one bit! Then again, it can be 115 and humid here in the summer...which is no treat.
