Donating YT 500 Club Member | So I just realized .... That I never formally introduced myself. I’ve been posting here for a couple of months, but I kinda just jumped into the forum! My name is Sarah. My two Yorkshire terrier’s are Clyde & Dexter! I’m currently attending college, hoping to transfer to a four year university soon. I do not have a major yet. I’m just getting general education out of the way right now. I know that I want to get a minor in Russian, but as for my major I am very much undecided. I don’t know if I want to major in Law, Criminal Justice, Forensics, Engineering, Music, and so on (I just don’t really know yet). So many options with so little experience! I work a part time job as a house keeper. That has been an interesting experience. I love bike riding and outdoor activities. I’m very school oriented. I absolutely love learning. I recently have made the decision to get more in shape! I let myself get over weight (not to badly, though) and I’ve decided to take control back over my weight. I joined this forum because I was very interested in becoming friends with people here! I was hoping to get to know people better, and hoping that this thread might help! What do you do? Do you have many hobbies? Do you play instruments? Do you have any particular skills? You don't have to answer all of those questions ... but I would just really like to learn more about the people here and perhaps start to make more friends! |

I am a stay at home mommie person, but my youngest ,of 6,is now out of highschool and getting ready to move on to the community college with some of the same interests that you have. So I am getting to go back to some of the things that I love to do and reclaim my house. |

Thanks Lol ... I'm so sorry about the loss of your baby ... Four Yorkies? That is impressive to me when people can own more than two dogs. I can barely keep up with two! lol ..but that is just because of my lifestyle... I'm sure things are never dull around your house

Oh whoa. That is kind of interesting ... I am not the youngest of six but I come from a family of six children and I am also going to community college as of this point, too. It must be nice for you to finally be able to be to focus on yourself now!

| Hi Sarah, welcome to YT!!! I have a Dexter Yorkie too! I just finished my BSBA only 2.5 years ago at 33 years old! Like you, I didn't know what I wanted to do when I 'grew up'! LOL I still don't... but having my degree sure did open a lot of doors and my salary has doubled in the last 3 years since! I'm thinking of going for my MBA soon. I wanted to pay down my student loans first, but I'm old now, so I think I might need to start soon. I don't have any special skills really, but I do ride a motorcycle. I absolutely LOVE being outdoors in warm sunny weather, my husband is 8 years older than me and has 2 kids who will both be military bound in less than 2 years, so we are thinking about moving somewhere warm year round. San Diego or somewhere in Texas, but I don't think hubby will go for Texas, so San Diego might be it. He lived in Cali for about 10 years when he was younger and he liked it there. I'm hoping year round warm weather will help me get in shape and stay in shape! I love to walk, ride bikes, even run... but all outdoors. Anyways... thats it for now!

YT 2000 Club Member | Hi Sarah and welcome to YT! I am fairly new here, too as I joined in November. I am married! 35 years to my best friend in the world. Wow, that sounds like a long time! I am a mom to four wonderful children, who have blessed me with 9 grandchildren! I am presently, a stay at home grandma. I have 2 yorkies named Max and Teeka. They are our very spoiled babies! I scrapbooking, camping, photography, walking and spending time with family and of course my yorkies! I also enjoy sewing and crafting especially with the grandkids! I try to look at everything in a positive way! (easier said than done, somedays)

| LOL! Well, "Hello and Welcome to YT!" so now it's formal and official! =D I'm Amanda, I'm a SAHM of 3 daughters (3, 5, and 7) and two dogs- both male- an 8 year old German Shorthair Pointer named Buddy and my 8 month old Yorkie pup named Blazer. My hobbies? Well, I'm fairly obsessed with Renaissance Festivals and so my hobbies include sewing new garb for that. I used to play clarinet way back in the day, but quit after my Sophomore year of high school. I sing and I act, well, used to, I haven't been in a play since college. =( I'm probably going to end up going back to school and getting another degree so that I can have a "career" when all of my girls are in school full time, but I have NO idea what I want to do. The things that I am interested in I can't do much for money or job security/retirement or have bad hours, all of which are huge to DH. I'd love to be a Doula, though. Birth is awesome and I love to be support for the mother so that she can have the best possible experience. I'd also like to be a massage therapist and idealy I'd be able to combine those two loves. But alas, that is not to be so I shall continue to look for something to do for a career. Hmm, I can't think of anything else about me so if you have questions, just ask! =D

| I feel like I am at an AA meeting haha but here is my official welcome My name is Alisha I have 1 1/2 year make named Guinness and a 10 week old female named Stella.. I also have 2 spoiled Koi fish that are each over a foot long and sadly I have to keep in a 250 gallon tank until we build our home Right now I am a manager handling government foreclosures which I HATE, but in my spare time I also have my property appraiser lic and insurance claims adjuster lic so I do both on the side, I also have a college degree in floral design, wedding and event planning that I NEVER use unless a friend begs me into helping hahaha. My husband is a general contractor storm chaser so with everything thing going on it appears he might be packing up to leave for a while again after being back home for 6 months after being gone for over a year and traveling a lot to start another business in Puerto Rico... It sucks BUT the money is so good that me and the fur kids can pack up and fly to him or him fly home as much as we like so it works plus we do lots of vacations. Hmm I collect guns, do not look or act my act, tend to spend my mind way too much and kid around and make jokes too much haha but if you can get past that I am one of the most loyal giving friends you could ever ask for. My true friends are my family I would give my life for and ummm don't think I missed anything haha in fact I might have shared too much haha Oh and I am a fair skinned redheaded freckled VERY VERY proud of my Irish and Scottish heritage as is my husband so I love Irish music folk and punk, love concerts and going to Irish and Scottish fest

| OOOH, Alisha! We should move near each other and start up a wedding planning business! LOL! I was a Bridal Consultant for 8.5 years and registered with the National Bridal Association. My focus, naturally, were wedding clothes and invitations but I definately did my fair share of wedding planning all around! =)
