| You Know What Sucks? Congratulating yourself for being frugal for a couple weeks so you could purchase a few "splurge" items for yourself and your furbabies, when you just realize that your tooth has broken in half! Luckily, I was able to get in to see the dentist right after it happened, but it was as I expected--it has to be crowned. There goes the "extra" bucks, plus quite a few more on top. Thank God we have dental insurance, but since it is the first of the year, none of my deductibles have been met yet. And of course, the boys are due for their Trifexis, and nail trim and anal session at the Vet, so now the splurge is definitely on hold. The biggest bummer is I was planning to donate to YT and even that must wait a little while longer! |

| I know, just about the time you raise your head up financially and plan a splurge, there is always the dentist, mechanic, plumber or sub contractor waiting to knock it back down again. Something always breaks or goes out. Always.

| Ain't that the truth! My puppy care account went up in smoke before I ever got Sam home. Last week I took my car in for a routine oil, rotate, and fluid top off. I walked out with it costing $935. Then the transmission went out Saturday on our way home. Another $2000.

I live in fear that our truck calls it quits, as it is our only source of transportation. My hubby's boss decided that after 17 years, he and a few others at his job were no longer qualified to bring their work trucks home. Kinda makes things inconvenient at times, you know? Oh well, it could be a WHOLE lot worse-like no job!

| It seems this happens a lot (to me anyway). After so many times, I finally decided to look at it from a different angel. I thought I was saving for one thing, but God knew I was going to need that money for something else..therefore, had me saving money. Seems I always have a medical emergency arise when I've saved money to do something else. And, I can relate..I had a tooth break last week. My dental appt to fix it is tomorrow.

My permanent crown will be ready in about two weeks. I'm really lucky that I didn't have to have a root canal, even if my jaw feels like I had one (hurts like the dickens from the injections and poking around). I STILL plan on donating to YT! That was one of the splurges I've got to put off. Hopefully, I won't have to wait 'til April to do it.

| Keep up your faith. We have had a bad few months. We got good news this past friday though so things are already starting to look up.
