Well... if you like steamy sexy vampires... try the midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian I am reading Geroge R.R. Martin..."A Dance with Dragons" .. hbo made a series out of the books. I loved Karen Marie Morning 's Fae series... Darkefever, Dreamfever, Faefever and Shadowfever... I can't remember the order right now but very good... not vampires but very much good vs evil type stuff. She also wrote a lot of highlander novel... they are a little more raunchie then the fae seriers. I am sure I can think of more.. I love to read. Do you have a kindel or do you have a kindel app?

| Aiden James does a lot of paranormal books including the "dying of the dark vampires". He is very inexpensive on kindle and I originally read his stuff both because it was free, but also because it is based in Knoxville, just up the road and an area I am familiar with. I have read several of his series now, including the talisman series and Cades Cove series. @Verbena, I have the outlander series by Diana gabaldon on my kindle, just haven't read it yet. Will now, thanks to the recommendation.

| Me, too. Love it. Took it to florida and read 16 books in 7 days. Gotta love that not going to the store or packing all those books anymore! Had it for years.

| I also recommend Karen Marie Moning. Love her. There's also Kresley Cole. She focuses more on all creatures, not just vampires.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You may have already read the series since it's been around a long time (ie, I read it 20 yrs ago, but would still recommend)...but did you read Anne Rice's vampire series?

| My girlfriend just highly recommended Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach. I bought the ebook but I just haven't read it yet.

| Could not get into Outlander...perhaps another time. I started the Midnight Breed series..on the first book. Not sure yet... Nope...have not read Ann Rice, but have heard good stuff about them....I will put that on my list. I never had any desire to read vampire books until Twilight came along. I always figured they were bloody and scary (vampire movies always frightened me) Thanks everyone for your input!
