UGG Boot, boy are they messy to wear

Boots arrived yesterday just like UGGS said they would, I am very impressed that they would send them overnight. The smaller pair feels good and the best part from after walking around the house in them with a without socks is NO shedding. Thank goodness for the internet because had I not hear a resounding they don't shed from you guys and FB I really don't think I would have believed that shedding was a natural occurence. now I cant' wait to loose more weight so I can feel comfortable in some slim pants that I can tuck in, cause that's how I think they look the cutest on people. I also just sprayed protection on them and plan to do so for two more days. Thanks appreciate everyone's feedback

I inherited a pair of UGG's from my daughter, LOL they are very warm, and i love the comfort, but I would not pay that much for them, and no mine don't shed, but again I did not got them brand new daughter broke them in , used them for a month and decided she did not want them anymore and I got them..FREE..LOL

I have two pairs of uggs... Living in sub tropical Miami I don't wear very often lol
I do wear when I visit Chicago, Texas or Virginia / tenn. and I love them. I don't wear in snow...I have the original ones and they don't have traction.


It's funny at school..when the weather goes down to 70 the kids wear boots lol

I know to us 70 feels cold. But the kids wear the heavy uggs and coats etc.. it is all what you are used to!!

I am going to visit my dd in Chicago next week... easy for me to pack. Open closet and put my complete winter wordrope in suit case. done


Now...what will I wear the second day??? lol

stop bragging, LOL I really wish I did not need two wardrobes, rotating my closet from summer is so depressing. Do you have sisters back there, if so perhaps they can loan you some things

There are lots of spray protectors you can purchase, including the ugg brand one.

As they are suede, they need protection from the elements, so they will repel water & not stain.

Living in Michigan, I have to protect all my leather & suede footwear or it wouldn't last a season.

I told her to get the Ugg care kit, it has a spray in there that protects the suede from stains and all.

I have had my UGGs for about three years, and they look brand new. I have the sand color, so I don't wear them in wet snow, but still they have had a lot of wear and they look great. I ordered them directly from UGG in Australia and also ordered the care kit from them. My husband treated them before I wore them, but I haven't had to do anything again with them. A lot of people I know ordered the kids sizes because they are cheaper. I tried them on and they fit fine, but I got an adult size in a much smaller size than I normally wear.

Kazzy is correct since they are suede they are not water or snow repellant, I did order the Ugg care kit but it was backordered, but I had some waterproofing spray in my cupboard. You should find it anywhere they sell shoe polish, just look for something that is good with leather and suede, make sure you cover the seams, I have sprayed them once daily for three days so they should be well protected
