See mine throws me medicine BUT it is not what I want to take

He keeps trying to force morphine and methadone on me and all I want is just Lortab 750s and I can deal with the rest... I feel stupid whining about wanting something less than what they give me lol

I am still looking for a new Dr but no such luck around my area.

My friend Rosemary has back pain and she has been seeing an acupuncturist. She says it has really helped. She will do anything before surgery. She walks with me in the am and that helps too. She has swimming and does back exercises which may not help that much. Prayer always helps keep our mind up even though our body is down. Oh heaven-no more dying, no more crying and no more Pain! Just have to tough it out until we get there!

50% people with fibro have good luck with acupuncture like my stepmom... I am the other 50% it is pure hell for me for some reason... I wanted it to work soooo bad I tried 3 different people even... But massage works GREAT for me and not for her.

I tried acupuncture did not work. I have tried everything. I finally do not have any choice now it is that bad. I am going back next week for nerve blocks. I like this doctor. He is good. I talked to him about what the one surgeon told me. And he gave me a unbiased opinion. It was good. I am happy that I spoke to him about it. I am in such pain but I am hoping some of it will subside.

Good luck Teri...I can't even imagine how those w chronic pain do it...this summer my back went out for a week...I realized how I took so much for granted..like getting dressed showering brushing my teeth even getting out of bed...the pain was unbelievable...

I have to get my bum up and get ready to go to the Dr. . . . Nerve blocks today. I do not want to go. I just want to go back to sleep

Well I had a total of like 12 shots between the numbing and the nerve blocks lol. I am hurting. It usually takes about 2 days for me to know if it works or not.

Wow, 12!! I pray you feel relief from them. I had a shot of cortisone in my hip and my shoulder...I knew they would hurt but figured for the 30secs. it took to do...as long as I got relief I didn't care. They have worked so far for almost a year, now. So, I sure hope you will be feeling better after today.

So back to the second opinion Dr tomorrow. I have the new MRI and x rays. Lets see what he has to say. If he does not come in the room this time. There will be one crazy person in his office !

Well he was really nice. He showed me my MRI and X-rays. They were really interesting and disturbing. my back is more messed up then i thought lol Both Drs. were really nice. I have to make a decision which one to go with. I am really not sure which one.
