I am now seeing about your excellent medical team...that is wonderful! And as long as y'all can see improvemnt, that always helps your attitude and your out look! You have been through so much...and then to loose your father too.....take care of yourself too, as you are so important to the health and recovery of your husband....you too, have to remain well.

The news is more surgery. They will take all the plates and screws out and fuse his ankle to his foot. He will have to be very very careful not to break the bones as they are still very weak. So cast for many weeks and no work at least for another six months. He was very happy there was no talk about taking the foot. So for that we are grateful. Surgery is set for Nov. 28th. So keeping praying we appreciate it.

So sorry to hear you lost your father.
I am so glad to hear you have such a great surgical team. I know it is not easy but just have to be patient. The end goal is the healing so got to give that whatever time it needs. Meanwhile, enjoy the holidays with your family!

Thanks everyone. My dad death has been a tough one I always try to stay very positive. But this one is hard. It makes you think what's it all for. We all are heading there. Sorry just a little pity party for me.

And as for dh just when you see a little light. It gets taken away. But in the long run hopefully he will be much better. And he does have a great surgeon. That expression when it rains it pours. Is very true right now.


On a happier note I think I may get my Christmas tree out today. And spend time with my animals that always helps me. Last night the dogs all three cuddled right up to me. Now how can you be down when you have that much love . Hope you all have a great day.
