Loving My iPad Mini!!

I'm pitiful...I got up at 2 in the morning on the day the mini pre-orders became available so that I could have it asap! I've been waiting for a long time for Apple to release a smaller tablet. I bought an iPad3 but just felt like it was too big/heavy and that I wouldn't get as much use out of it, so I returned it the next day. The wait was definitely worth it. I know everyone has their own opinion but the iPad mini was the right choice for me and I've got no regrets. The screen size is perfect for me, it's quick, I have no trouble typing on it or surfing the internet or reading YorkieTalk! It is also more than light enough to use as an eReader or to carry around in my purse. I don't leave home without it!

I think there are a lot of equally good options out there for small tablets right now, but the Mini was the best choice for me. Love it!

I just got the ipad 3 this past summer, so no mini for me. But I like that it's bigger. It's our second computer at work, so the smaller wouldn't really work for us here. The mini isn't small enough to fit in my bag anyway, so no plus there. I can barely fit my full sized wallet, sunglass case and cell phone in my bag. Even my keys hang on the outside. I love the look of large bags, but I was just putting EVERYTHING in them. They were killing my back and shoulder. Plus I ended up having to carry all of bf's stuff. Now I just tell him carry your own damn stuff.

I'm glad to hear you're so happy with it! I've read the reviews and decided to buy a couple of these as gifts. Not sure whether to get the black or (more apple traditional) white....and even less sure how to casually ask what they'd prefer without giving away the surprise of what they'll be getting.

Just got mine! I tried and tried every day on apple at exactly 10 PM with no luck. Found it at target online! Love it!

Well if they do not like color they can return it plus that gives them a chance to put AppleCare on it which I highly recommend to everybody... Hubby has dropped his off a 3 story house out of his truck you name it and nothing has happen to it... I was putting on my new case dropped it 4 inches from the floor and broke the glass, $50 later I had a brand new ipad3

I finally saw the iPad mini in person today and love it. No, I don't need one, my iPad2 is just fine, but I think Santa needs to get me a mini anyway.

Last year, I ordered the iPad2 from Apple on Black Friday, and got 10% off plus free shipping. Think I'll try that this Friday and hope the same deal is on.

Wasn't thinking about that....I always order their apple products with engraving and there's no return on personalized items, unless defective.

My 2 was engraved but every time they release something new the husband has to go buy the latest and greatest so I got that one oct 2011 and then the 3 came out march I think and he got that one the day it came out so now somewhere there is a man walking around with an iPad 2 that says MEOW on the back lol
