I'm pitiful...I got up at 2 in the morning on the day the mini pre-orders became available so that I could have it asap! I've been waiting for a long time for Apple to release a smaller tablet. I bought an iPad3 but just felt like it was too big/heavy and that I wouldn't get as much use out of it, so I returned it the next day. The wait was definitely worth it. I know everyone has their own opinion but the iPad mini was the right choice for me and I've got no regrets. The screen size is perfect for me, it's quick, I have no trouble typing on it or surfing the internet or reading YorkieTalk!
It is also more than light enough to use as an eReader or to carry around in my purse. I don't leave home without it!
I think there are a lot of equally good options out there for small tablets right now, but the Mini was the best choice for me. Love it!
