| You may have to do it a couple times for a couple days. I hope it worked for you and that you are healing now.

| I think it's safe to assume that this has gone too far for Dawn to help. I bathed 4 times in it and while it helped for a little while, the itching returned. Luckily, my doc and I are friends and a quick phone call with him led him to believe I'm in a histamine cycle. The rash isn't spreading anymore, but it's not healing. So tomorrow I'll start a 6 day step down regimen of Prednisolone. Supposedly, I'll feel better in 24 hours and the rash should be gone in about 3 days. Let's hope. If this doesn't work, I'm carving out the defective skin and just gonna wait for new skin to grow in it's place.

I agree with another poster..the man needs what we West Indians would call a 'washout'...sorry, all kidding aside, I really hope what the doctor prescribed works for you> So what does poison oak look like...I figured it was three leaves as well. And how did you finally figure out it was poison oak...my word baking soda and vinegar...ouch!! As if the poison oak wasn't painful enough....that had to be excruciating....arrghh!

| Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but I loved the tale. As a horticulturist, I sympathize. As they say....been there, suffered thru that lol. |
