♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Update on dh Well Thursday was our appt. my dh was really ready for them to just take the foot just below the knee if it looked like no progress since the bone grafting three months ago now. We seen very little . We brought it up and doctor said he really wanted to give it more time at least till November marks one year. He had some good points . He did say that he will have to fuse the ankle for sure because he is going to have terrible arthritis. And mentioned maybe taking some of the screws and plates out. But still said it could come to taking the foot.. So now we sit and wait even more. He is getting so restless ( I can not blame him). This has been very hard as he is the main income for our family. I am working which helps. Anyways I will not get into that we will figure it out. And I am not wanting sympathy just extra prayers Thanks Ann

| Ann, I will keep your DH and you in my thoughts and prayers. The lack of mobility and leg and foot pain is so very frustrating. |

| I am sorry you didn't get better news from the dr. I can only imagine how tough it is for you both, but especially your husband. I'm keeping him in my prayers for a real turnaround and that he'll be better by later in the year. {{{{hugs}}}}

| Gosh I so feared this for him when I heard about his nonunion and the problems. If doc thinks a fusion would take with his bone situation, is DH open to that? Occasionally a fusion will work out even for a few years and buy some time and some take permanently. Some patients just want the amputation and be done with it ASAP. I will keep praying for you and your husband.

| Oh no, I am sorry the news wasn't better Did the doctor recommend any supplements or dietary things he can do to help things along? More prayers on the way!

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thanks everyone. He is great about taking all his vitamins. And we did also try a machine that was suppose to vibrate and help heal. Did nothing.
