Gosh I so feared this for him when I heard about his nonunion and the problems. If doc thinks a fusion would take with his bone situation, is DH open to that? Occasionally a fusion will work out even for a few years and buy some time and some take permanently. Some patients just want the amputation and be done with it ASAP. I will keep praying for you and your husband.
