Do you Remember When...

I posted a picture in the gift exchange clues of an old pay phone and Lil Sis (Shinja) came up with the idea that it would be a cute thread..so here goes...post a pic of something you remember from growing up or your younger years
This is a picture like my first car a 1970 something Plymouth Duster a muscle car that my dad bought me...I hated that car because it was this same ugly green color...my 30 year old son said I should have held on to it

Do you remember when ever one had to have Farrah Fawcett hair??? I actually remember "flipping" my hair back like that!!

My daddy had an orange Roadrunner! Looked like this.

I remember the hair and the car...I started wearing glasses in the early 70's..looking back at pics I cringe at the styles...they were something like this..lol

ok sorry i dont have a picture but in my middle high school days we tucked and folded up the end of our jeans.....i guess where were looking for what they call the skinny jean today. i think about it how and how silly we must have looked and i am thankful not have a photo of myself doing this to my jeans!!! haha.

I will have to a lot of "remembering" when I am home and can post pictures

But... I *gasp* remember "party lines" .. one phone in the house with a cord attaching the head peice to the phone.

I remember having to change channels on my tv by getting up and changing the chanels.

I remember rolling my hair on soup cans before flat irons.

I remember 8 track tapes

Reading a "map"...

oh geezzee.. I sound like an ole country song

LOL..I remember all of the above..and we had a couple of little old ladies on our party line you could rarely get to use the phone..and this was during my early teenage years.

I remember when we only had 3 Tv channels not including PBS and I remember Dad constantly adjusting the color and tint on the set...and those horizontal lines through the picture.
