| ![]() First day of mmy internship was today. Mostly learned the ropes, just learning how they do things. I learned how to clean kennels, but I won't do much of the dirty work, thats for volunteers. I watched them microchip, learned how to do heartworm testing...it was very educational. The hardest part was going in with a pomeranian to be put to sleep. They taught me how to hold her and I talked to her in a sweet voice and pet her while they administered it..I thouught in my mind, rest in peace on the rainbow bridge...and she was gone. I cried, but who wouuldnt? It'll get easier, but i'll never like it.

| ![]() Congrats I'm really happy for you that you are happy doing what you're doing. Hearing that post about the Pomeranian made me want to cry. I could never do it. |
