Anyone out there struggling with quitting should just remember that. When you run into stress, tell your self that. I can't believe how well it worked for me.

First, I've said a quick prayer that the new gig works out! I'm in the mortgage industry, so I've suffered through layoffs in the past (they're typical and to be expected with what I do), but everything always seems to work out for the best.

Second, you freakin' rock! Two months without smoking and going through a layofff without starting back up! That's amazing!!!!

Oh here's the really screwed up thing about it. They gave our jobs to ppl in India.

Although no one at my company has been laid off (yet), the Accounts Payable jobs were given to people in India. The kicker? The work they do is twice as bad than what the employees here did. Another kicker? The fees they charge for doing the AP work is ridiculous.

Its sad that companies are giving our jobs to ppl over seas just to save a buck. Really really sad. And from what it seems they are not even saving that much. The company I was at offered really good benefits. That's probably where they are saving all their money. They are hypocrites btw. They bragged about how proud they were all their employees were from America. In one month we pulled in over a million dollars for them. Doesn't make sense we weren't making enough. Oh well. No use crying over spilled milk.

Ahhh thank you Karen. I will keep going. I have something lined up but don't want to speak to soon. More to come. I'm actually working on it now
