| Oh, how interesting to hear about everyone! 1. I taught Special Education for 27 years and retired with full benefits at age 49. 2. Now I work for a nonprofit - our group works with abused and neglected children in the court system. 3. My passion is Yorkies and love everything that goes along with this including meeting people from YorkieTalk at various events. 4. I am a member of Yorkie Haven Rescue and fostered my first Yorkie this year. Her name is Fergi and she is now happily adopted - her Mom and Dad just sent me pictures of her kayaking in Indiana. I am thrilled that she is going to be a sporty kind of gal. 5. I am on my 40th high school reunion committee and I am having a blast finding and talking to people that I have not talked to since the "dark ages".

| Aww, thanks everybody! I belong to a world-wide Fontanini collector's club. There are display contests every year, so I get to see the best of the best. I do know of a couple people with displays as large, or a little larger than mine. One is in California (if I remember right) and one is in Brazil. I'm not sure they have more pieces, just more square footage. Mine was 84 square feet this year, and we already talking about expanding again for next year. We display it in the church foyer at Christmas time. The church is Trinity Assembly of God, in Lutherville, MD. There is a huge cantata there every year that brings in people by the bus loads (it's a mega church), so it does get to be seen by many people. It's something we enjoy doing as a family. For us, it's a tradition, and it wouldn't be Christmas without it. The people in the display are 5"tall, so that gives you an idea of how small the accessories are. I put most of the display tables together myself, with individual tiny fruits, vegetables, meats, breads etc. We haul in stone each year and hand make all the retaining walls and steps. Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | Great thread! 1) Well...I guess you already know that I am a teacher for special needs children. I have worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder since 2003 and am currently pursuing a Master's in Ed Leadership. I am teacher of the year this year and am very proud of that accomplishment. 2) I have been with my spouse for almost 10 years but only married 2. We enjoy deep sea fishing and traveling to different places on our boat. 3) I absolutely love history and saved money for years to be able to see Rome and Greece. It was the most amazing experience of my life! I loved it and would love to go again! It was a Mediterranean cruise and we stumbled upon amazing ruins in Ephesus, Turkey and the most beautiful place I have ever seen Santorini, Greece. 4) I danced professionally in my early 20s and taught dance as well. I take a dance class from time to time and still have some moves. 5) I have 3 dogs (2 Boxers and a Yorkie). They are the loves of my life!

| I typed this twice cause I hit something and it all disappeared. Sorry if it shows up somewhere random. 1. I'm a social worker and I work with kids who have been sexually abused. I'm married to a cop for 20 years, go figure. WE have a college age daughter. 2. Even though I have pursued a career that hinges on building good relationships, I don't personally make friends very easily. I have extreme social anxiety and have to push myself everyday. 3. I love to travel with my husband and we are cruise addicts, but a land vacation works too 4. My first job was at a Baskin Robbins and I'm still a huge ICE CREAM snob. 5. I am slave to two beautiful yorkies. I never had dogs before and I had no idea doggie love could be so huge.

| Fun Thread! 1. I'm 50 (yikes) years old and I can't believe it! 2. I'm a single Mom of a handsome, 16 year old boy, who does well in school and recently discovered girls. And Mom to Ringo and Lucy, of course. 3. I was an army brat, born in Berlin. Germany, lived all over Alabama, then returned to the family home in WV and now in OH - relocated with my job. 4. We moved my 91 y/o father in when us when we moved - challenging. 5. I've recently discovered the joys of early morning workouts - namely kickboxing. I tried to upload a photo but it's too big!
