YT 1000 Club Member | Another child mauled by a large dog... This is just so sad. As parents and adults we really need to teach children to be careful around pets, and we need to recognize that pets too "need their own space and time". U.S. News - 2-year-old California girl mauled by family pit bull

| As parents and adults, WE should realize that NO amount of "teaching", short of doing something that will terrify a small child almost to death of any animal, is going to keep a child from wanting to "kiss, cuddle or pet the puppy" . WE as adults are solely responsible if OUR or someone else's child is trampled, kicked, scratched, clawed, bitten, half eaten alive, or killed by an animal....it is NOT the child's fault, any more than it is the animal's fault. ADULT HUMANS should be held accountable for these incidents! |
