YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() What a disheartening and sad story. They were only in it for $. May all those poor babies, who were put to sleep instead of in forever homes, rest in peace. By the way, Harrison is a wealthy town within Westchester County, New York. http://www.lohud.com/article/2012050...|img|Frontpage

| ![]() I was reading an article the other day about "no kill" shelters. The article referred to one shelter that brought 72 cats to the vet to be euthanized at one time!

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() We recently had a situation where a number of dead pets were dumped, in trash bags, at the side of a highway. Have not heard more on the story but the media posted pictures of the animals and as gory as they were at least the owners came forward. Apparently the pets were euthanized and they were able to pinpoint it back to the facility.

| ![]() I don't know how a shelter can call theirselves No Kill in the 1st place as most shelters take in more animals then are adopted out so where are they putting all of these animals ? Our shelter calls theirself No Kill & I have never seen more then 10 dogs in there at once & they could easily hold 100 dogs. They will not take in any animal without 1st calling the city & asking permission ![]() |
