What book are you reading?

I just finished "Cutting for Stone". Oh my gosh!! What a great read. How do you send books for kindle via e-mail? I have a kindle and so does my friend and we just trade kindles to read each other's books. I would love to know how to send to another kindle. I read one or two books per year before I had a kindle - now I read two or three per week. I don't miss paper books. They just collect dust and I am allergic to dust.

You will just have to connect it to your computer and pull/copy the file, save, and send it.

Just do a search online and it will tell you how.

I think everyone has their own opinion. I have read the first 2, and need to read the third. To me it's just a trashy romance novel series...but people are making it out to be so much more. Don't get me wrong, I do want to read the 3rd book and see how it ends, but I just don't think it's the great literary masterpiece that some are claiming it to be.

I'm reading "Will There Really Be a Morning?" - the autobiography of Frances Farmer, an actress from the 1930s, who has always fascinated me. For her times, she was very forward thinking and independent and didn't fit the mold at all; she was rebellious and considered temperamental and a 'radical' at times....which eventually led to tragic stays in multiple mental institutions. It's not a happy story, but an interesting view of the '30s. There is a movie from 1982 about her called "Frances", starring Jessica Lange...a really great movie, in terms of telling a story.

I also read all three....and totally agree with your last sentence!
