| Everyone's trees are so gorgeous! I love Christmas too! Well, I did help decorate six houses this year (for the charity Holiday home Tour) but I have been too busy to get to mine. I still have Thanksgiving decor to put away and then the house has not been "put back" for it's transformation into the Taj Mahal for my daughter's 18th birthday party!! LOL. Maybe this weekend. i do have lights on the outside of the house for the first time in three years I think. |

| They are all decorated so beautifull!!! You have great taste in decorations in my opinion But most of the trees you show are "too perfect" in they shaped, is it.....*gulp*.....plastic? I am afraid to ask and I hope you don't get mad at me, because in Denmark you would get scolded big time asking someone if their tree was plastic - it is a big big no-no here. Christmas - wether you're religious or not, is most often about love and honesty - and then you can't have a bloody fake tree. That's just putting too little effort into it. But I can imagine that getting a real tree would be very difficult in ie Texas hehe In Denmark we grow them a lot of places, and so even though they are somewhat expensive, everyone can have one EDIT: BTW - Kim, I love the way you decorated with the flowers - we have lots of them in our house right now - the real ones - and I would LOVE to be able to put some on the tree. Maybe I should experiment with cutting their heads of christmas day, putting the stem in a little wet plastic and put them on the tree, see if it could be done - that would be awesome

| We have a firestove So we chop the tree up in january and dry it, so we can brun the year after - no waste here But if you just throw the tree after using it, I agree with you, that's a waste of ressources - never thought of that - thanks for the input

| You'll laugh... We don't have children or any family near us, and usually go on vacation for Christmas week, so unless I'm entertaining for the Holidays, I really couldn't be bothered with a tree. My husband, on the other hand, HAS to have a tree!! (Like all good Jewish boys! ) So he went in the basement and pulled out a box of decorations, got some houseplants gathered on an end table and this is the result! Charlie Brown would love it, I'm sure. (Wouldn't he Lucy!?!) I have to admit that its better than the time I came home to a house full of fiber optic decorations that he bought on impulse (read sale) at the drug store!! Those blasted things gave me a headache!! Bless his heart!!
