We don't have children or any family near us, and usually go on vacation for Christmas week, so unless I'm entertaining for the Holidays, I really couldn't be bothered with a tree.
My husband, on the other hand, HAS to have a tree!! (Like all good Jewish boys!
) So he went in the basement and pulled out a box of decorations, got some houseplants gathered on an end table and this is the result!
Charlie Brown would love it, I'm sure. (Wouldn't he Lucy!?!)
I have to admit that its better than the time I came home to a house full of fiber optic decorations that he bought on impulse (read sale) at the drug store!!
Those blasted things gave me a headache!!
