| My day couldn't get worse!! I am having such a bad day... I just had to vent to someone..... well first I eneded up wearing a sweater to work that fits me to big, so I look pregnant or fat, take your pic... then hubby calls and tells me that he wants me to "update" his resume AGAIN....... apparently at his current workplace they are not able to guarantee his work hours..... and they promised to pay him something and ended up being WAY less..... so now we are in a bind!! It always seems to happen around the christmas holidays!! So I am now soooo worried because of the bills and I am trying to find all these different types of ways to help him out, especially since at this time of year you cannot find a jop anywhere other than min. wage...Oh gosh..... I don't know what to do now.....I am so stressed out!!! This is my favorite season and time of the year and I can never seem to enjoy it! Sorry... just had to vent.....at least I have my little Gizmo. P.S - I also have a flat tire that I am hoping will have enough air to go home to or a shop.... I didn't put any air in it b/cuz I have no idea how to operate those things!! AWWW Someone shoot me please..... I feel like going under the covers and not coming out!! |

| I'm sorry your day isn't all that great...Just sit back, take a deep breath, and then find Gizmo and give a huge hug and kiss. It seems the holiday season brings on additional stresses but somehow we always manage to get through it.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Think of the GOOD things in your life and kiss a yorkie IT sort of helps me thru those days - there are always worse in life that we see and sometimes we feel overwhelmed..... but remember - if you have health - you are already rich. Believe me - I'm speaking from the heart right now - when you lose that.... you lose everything. Then after you think about this - stop on the way home and buy some really decadent ice cream |

| "Then after you think about this - stop on the way home and buy some really decadent ice cream" quote by Villette __________________ Villette, I have said it before and I'll say again "Lady you are just too smart" cuz that is the best advice there is next to kissing a Yorkie. LOL Everyone of us needs to take a deep breath and try to enjoy thse holidays and most of all remember why we have Christmas. I know most of us have not a plate but platter full !!

| It is such a tough time. We are in a bind as well, we have been for the last couple of months. It always seems to come at the worst time too. Thanksgiving and then Christmas, this is the time when you have the most expenses out of the whole year. But, hopefuly it will all work out for you and your hubby will find a much better, well paid position. The new year is just around the corner and good things will come along with it. I PROMISE!! Take Care.

| I am so blessed to have you guys ... Thanks guys!! I know.... hopefully things will get better, ans Villette is right.. if you have good health and a roof over your head you are okay... And thank god I was blessed with a good family (for support) and good friends all around including you guys.... it just seems we sometimes take for granted all the extra $$ we have around the rest of the year... I always say this but I am starting x-mas shopping early next year... maybe dedicate a gift a month.... anyhoo..... thanks for the advice.. I just had a bar of chocolate so everything feels good right now!! Last edited by cindy0721; 12-05-2005 at 01:28 PM. Reason: send early |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I'm sorry you are having a tough time. It will work out. Last January right when the xmas bills were coming in I was called in to HR and told i would be retiring as of 2/1 as my position had been eliminated. I worked for the company for 33 years and was the major breadwinner in the family and my dtr was in her 1st year of college. But it turned out to be a good thing as my parents health took a turn for the worse their 85 & 86 plus I was taking care of my 85 yo father in law, not to mention a boss from hell. It has been hard financially but I had time to help my parents and FIL and I finally got the nerve up to get a second dog, cali. After that i was diagnosed with a brain tumot, benign and decided nothing is more important than my health and I am going to enjoy some extended time off and see what happens. So hopefully your husband will get a better job and you will have peace and a happy new year!

| Thank you Patti... I am so sorry to hear about your health but I am happy that things are getting better for you. Yes you should definatly enjoy some time off. I know things happen for a reason and whatever doesn't break us only makes us stronger. I know that God is with me and watching me and I thank the lord that I have everything I have now because there are less fortunate people out there. I sure hope that things do get better. Thanks everyone!! Merry Christmas to all!! |
