| How to stop a cat from spraying? Every morning I leave to go to work, I lock my door and all I smell is CAT PEE! I will come home and rinse it off and the next morning the cat came and sprayed AGAIN!! I am getting so annoyed.. Does anyone have any tricks to get this cat away from my front door and stop spraying?

| Is this a stray spraying outside your door, or is it cat on the inside spraying the door?

| It is a stray- I don't have any cats, nor do I feed the strays.

| Sprinkle some cyane pepper around your entryway outside. You can also put some in a spray bottle with water & let it set overnight & spray the area. |

| Oh that sounds good! What would be better? Sprinkle or spray? Or both

| I don't have any advice, but GROSS!! I can't believe he's spraying your car door. Why do people allow their cats wander and not get them fixed? Ew.

| Unless you live in an apartment like setting, it's likely that he/she is spraying all over...not just your door. Free roaming cats have rounds they make routinely to mark their territory and if you have shrubs, posts, floral pots etc, they'll get it all! I've never tried the feline sprays that are suppposed to keep cats from spraying but I've heard good things about it. Otherwise you may want to trap the cat. The bad thing about that is, once this one is gone, the spray left behind can potentially attract another challenger to spray over the top and that may actually be what's going on. I've had stray or free roaming neighborhood cats kill some landscaping because of spraying and urinating and I agree, I hate the smell. They are relentless.

| I know its annoying and it smells horrible! Cat pee is so nasty smelling, I would rather smell dog pee any day! I don't know people are so annoying. I wish people would just spay and neuter it would stop so many things!
