Keep some rope handy to tie him to the couch next time. Hopefully there won't be a next time.

I am glad everyone is okay, it was a scary night.

We spent Friday evening downstairs in our safe area, I could not keep the cat downstairs so I finally locked him in a small powder room.

Just seeing this thread.... We had sirens going off in Northern Ky. and hung out in our church's basement for about an hour on Friday. No problems for us, though. But, we did have three fatalities in our county (Kenton County in Ky.) So sad - their families are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am happy to hear that all my YT friends managed fine with all this wild weather. We were praying pretty hard for you to stay safe. I think it's wonderful how everyone pulls together and helps one another. It is a good lesson in humanity.

Just took 6 bags of dog food the the animal shelter that has been rounding up all of the stray dogs who made it through the tornado (many did not make it,but that does not make the news, of course) and 10 boxes of diapers. They have lot of things being donated for adults but need thongs for adults. It need toys and tsupplies for babies and toddlers. So very sad, and we were so lucky!!!!!

Right in the middle of being sequestered in the doctor's
office hallway when it hit they admitted my mother to the hospital right afterwards - I kept Cali with me the whole time - she was soooo good - never made a peep at the doctors or in the hospital. She spent the night sleeping next to my mother in the hospital bed inLouisville. I was really grateful she uses piddle pads

She was the hit of the ER and many of the doctors and nurses commented that they were worried about their pets at home.

Blessing too all those who have been in harms way. Don't know what we would have done without the National Guard in all of this. Henryville Indiana lost every one of their 3 schools.

Glad you made it through okay.

It has been so sad reading about the damage and death in our county too. But it appears people are uniting to help.
