If your son likes to fish, he can do a presentation on tying a knot. He could take a bobber or a weight instead of a lure so it does not pose any danger. Also, if he wanted to do something more with that topic, take pictures of him doing it at home and present the visual via slide show or video. Just a thought.

My nine year old has the same interests as your son so I asked him his opinion. Does he have any traps or cages to catch anything? My son has a small trap that he's caught birds, rabbits and squirrels in, lol!

Best how to paper I ever read was How to blow your nose, something just about everyone knows how to do (to some degree), but no one really ever thinks about the steps involved.
