My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Ideas on ow to hang a throw on the wall? OK I admit...I'm not the craftiest tool in the shed LOL. But what are some ideas on hanging a throw on the wall. I bought a super cute Yorkie Throw and I want to hang it on the wall. Thanks |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | You could use a quilt rack, there are many styles available. Affordable quilt rack & hangers @ Robinsons Woodcrafts

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | One way is to buy a wooden dowel, like they sell at home improvement stores. You can buy them in various thicknesses and lengths and cut it to the width of the throw and make a small hem in the throw and put the dowel through the hem. A simple curtain rod would work too. You can attach some type of rope/twine etc. to each side of the dowel to hang it. Another option would just be thumbtacking the throw on the wall. There are some cute thumbtacks you can buy or even use upholstery tacks found at craft stores. Show us a picture of the throw!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | If you use Nancy's idea and hang the throw from a rod, you don't have to hem the throw and take away from the original size. You can sew a rod pocket onto the back of your throw. Use a co-coordinating fabric, and thread so it doesn't show as much from the front view. The fabric just needs to be long enough to run the length of your throw and wide enough to cover a rod with seam allowances.

| What a cute idea! I have seen a hand stitched ribbon (or store bought) weaved through a decorative rod and tied in a bow on each end.
