If your DH is shaking in pain then they are not treating his pain adequately. If the nurses can't get the pain insist they call the doctor. Unfortunately you have to be very assertive in the hospital. The nurses can only give what has already been ordered and if that is not working then they need to call the doctor on call if they don'tndonthat for any reason then you ask for the person in charge aa
And you can start calling the doctor yourself if you are not satisfied . Squeaky wheel .......

Oh that night it did come to that. We were not very happy even with the doctor he had to be called twice. Second time he says oh I should have looked better it's because your spinal is wearing off. second time he looked first time he must not of. Man I will tell you. But I love his surgeons and most of his nurses. So it's all good now. That night was awful tho. I never want to see that kind of pain again
