I agree with you and i agree as the mother of a little boy due soon i would not be ok letting my son run around with an adult male so much and defin not sleeping over there at his house without it being a sleepover with the man's son. sleepovers with adults is just not normal or necessary.

He was married and had children. This was not like a single older man having young boys sleep over.

those kids were all fosters or adopted too. sick and even sicker. but the boys were always put alone in the basement. why didn't his wife realize what he was doing down there to those kids?

i would hope if i married someone like that i would catch on quick and turn him in. thank God i'm married to a wonderful man, but gosh i would never be able to lie or turn my head and watch an evil person ruin the lives of others if i knew about it.

Ugh did you hear the phone interview with him that they're playing on the news? Disgusting. He has creeper voice*shudders* He denies everything, of course. This whole thing just makes me ILL. As a parent, one of the signs of a sexual predator that the experts say to look out for is when an adult takes an inordinate interest in your child. I'd say that picking them up at school and having sleepovers is definitely over the top. I believe that some of these moms were probably so grateful to have a male role model for their sons that they didn't see how weird his attention was.

Wish there was stricter punishment for child molesters. They get out of prison and go on with their lives, while their victims sometimes have issues all their lives

Who in their right mind witnesses a grow man doing what Sandusky did to that child and doesn't call the police. By telling someone else does not let him off of the hook by any means. Than for Joe P. to have that information brought to his attention and do the same. Unbelievable lack of human coemption !

I feel so awful for the young boys, now getting older. This will affect them the rest of their life. Terrible.

As far as everyone involved, glad they have all been fired and it should have been a much worse punishment. I know in Kentucky that if you suspect sexual abuse (or any kind of abuse) and do not call the Cabinet (social workers) you are guilty too. All because of a stupid school's sport's reputation this went on. Makes me sick.

I'm already so sick of hearing about this awful pervert and now it will be like the Casey Anthony case. We will hear all about this awful story for years now - having to hear details of this creep's awful deeds and their cover-up not to mention the endless tragedy rained down on those poor little boys who fell victim to all his evil ways. And when is some judge going to put some type of bail on him? I heard he's free in the community based only on his signature! Wonder when he will start to say he himself was abused by his father or some guy in his past? You know they will start to portray him as a victim himself. Such an awful story.

You're so right about this affecting them the rest of their life and in so many ways most people don't even understand. Not only will this affect the boys involved but also everyone these boys interact with in the future. Once innocence is taken in such a brutal way, there is no way of going back, closing the door, unlearning what you've learned.
