I was glad to see he apologized...but seriously? What is wrong with people? I had to throw in there again that Levi was adopted through YHR and we live in Charlotte. Apparently posting a picture of us at the dealership wasn't quite enough. Maybe I should've taken his picture at a Charlotte landmark every day of the contest!

Good for you, I think it's really neat that the car dealership has done this, and I hope this doesn't sour them on the idea. Anyway, I'm glad he apologized and maybe someone gave him a line of bull about what was happening, and he thought it was true. If so, they just made themselves look bad.

I understand that he just happens to be employed by the same airline as one of their board members. I think they knew their number was up when someone from Park's inquired as to who he was supporting. I hate to think that way, but after the history with them.....not sure I could think anything else.

I am embarrassed for them as well....and for all rescuers because this is the kind of behavior that makes people speak poorly about rescue. They are winning money and still complaining. The other groups are fine....just plodding along and participating like everyone else...trying to drum up votes. The other thing is that they complain about national this and national that and they have groups from all over the country voting. Just mind boggling.

I will bet that Parks will not do anything like this again and that is so sad. All because people complained the entire time. Even telling Parks how to donate their money...just unbelievably ungrateful and unappreciative of a wonderful gesture. They are doing a wonderful thing and getting nothing but flack.

The only ones to suffer will be the animals.
