We are at 100 right now and that is the coolest we've been at this time in over a week, I think. Just think, 3 more weeks, it's September!!! |
96 degrees here since it is cloudy! :) Nice break from being over 100 all the time. However, back to 108 tomorrow. :( |

I live in North Mesquite and we trend a little cooler sometimes in summer, I've noticed. Whatever is going on, I will take it. Courge that is just the gadget temp on my laptop and it may be off some but I checked my Direct TV temp channel a while back and it was 100 too so maybe it's right. |
It was in the high 90's today , last week stayed around 100:eek: READY for the cooler temps my pocket can't handle too many more high light bills!!! |

Ours are really reasonable in the winter. I think my gas bill was in the $80.00's the month of the Superbowl in Dallas when it was so cold. It's only in July and August that my electric bills are so high. Usually don't get over $200.00 so not so bad. Last summer I did have an electric bill of like $250.00 but I kept the house so cold that month due to hot flashes am not suprised it wasn't $800.00! Thank the Lord the flashes didn't hit this summer or I would be paying no telling how much for electricity to keep that A-C humming nonstop. |
you are lucky the hot flashes went away my sister had them for years...I never had any but a lot of my friends still do |
So did my poor sister. They are uncomfortable but mine weren't really bad, thank goodness. |

Me, too, am always cold except for last summer when I had those hot flashes and kept the house so cold! One reason I am glad I live in a state that doesn't stay cold for long, long periods as I would just freeze to death. |
My sil lived in Texas for many years she always talked about the heat there she was in the Waco area |
My electric bill should be small this month......day 4 with no AC!!! I'm moving to Alaska if this keeps up! |

Wow! It is 3:45 p.m. and temp in Dallas, Texas only 90 degrees and cloudy. Online radar looks like Ft. Worth may be getting rain!!! Wonder if today we snap out string of days of 100 or higher????? WAAAAAHOOOOOOO!!!! |
