| I've had sleeping problems since I was a teen. It annoys me more than anything. I'll be so tired then as soon as I close my eyes I am wide awake, or waking every 2-3 hours. I've took ambien for a few years off & on but have built up a tolerance. The only thing that works now is a heavy dose of risteral & I don't have access at the time. One thing that's funny about ambien though is often I would sleep for about an hour then wake up starving. I'd go eat then the next day I would have no memory of it! But I'd see evidence or the food would be gone. Finally saw it can cause "sleep driving" & "sleep eating". Pretty weird. Not to discourage anyone from taking it, I still would if it worked.

There are def a lot of other things you could try that might be more gentle. Do you think you have true insomnia? It's so draining! LOL - your siggie: "Kharma is only a b*tch if you are....." --- that's awesome.

We've tried melatonin and a few others but none seem to help. I just live with it. I cruise through old YT posts and gain new knowledge lol
