| ![]() I just keep a mental list of things. I divide it into 3 categories...things I must do, things I should do and things I could do if I have time. It seems that I never get past 'things I must do', but the sweet thing is that everything eventually makes its way up to that list or falls off the lists altogether.

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() If you can afford it - an iPhone or an iPad!!!! Seriously. Maybe just go to an Apple store and check one out. I am really big on user interface and intuitive use, and Apple has hit it out of the park in this area. I always have my iPhone, which means I always have my grocery list. I track my periods. I take miscellaneous notes. I save websites I want to look at later. On the computer, I use Microsoft OneNote, which is also a very simple program and really easy to stay organized. Nothing has to be saved: you type it in, and it's there. It's also really easy to move stuff around and link information together. I know this solution is pretty much everything you said you didn't want, but if you get the urge to try a different direction... get an iPad! ![]()

| ![]() My husband also swears by his Iphone. I just flounder in the abyss of perimenopausal losing my mind (ok, losing what's left). ![]()

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() One more great thing about the "i"s -- the search feature is really good. So if you're trying to remember that random thing you wrote down months ago, iPhone will find it.

| ![]() Use those wipe off markers on the bathroom mirror. Everything important for the immediate future we need to remember we write on the mirror, once completed it's wiped off. If one of the kids has an appt or something...the night before I write it right at my eye level so I can't put on makeup without reading that first. Works great for us. For your hubby write your upcoming birthday on his chest while he's sleeping in lipstick ----> just kidding but I have threatened with it a few times!

| ![]() I like the marker on the mirror idea. I usually tape a note, face high, on my husbands side of the mirror if he needs to remember something and I wont be there to remind him. I teased him many years ago that he needed a daytimer,he had one less than a week later. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | ![]() QS...no ipad for me...hubby bought me one in November, and I just couldn't get on board with it ![]() I've been searching around a ton - and I think I'm going to try the Arc notebook system or the Circa (Arc is the cheaper version of Circa). Both of those systems have pages that you can just move around/customize (without opening a binder etc). They look really cool.

Ann I LOVE technology, but I absolutely lived by my DayTimer. It is similar to the ARC product demoed in the link. For those of us who love low-tech planning this is the route. I also love the marker on the bathroom window - that would be a perfect compliment for remembering those extra important appointments. | |

| ![]() I am having to make a renued effort to stay on top of appointments -- so I bought the Calendar Pro app for my Kindle 3. I've only had it for a week, but so far I'm loving it. Seems pretty straight forward and easy to use. The best part is that it was only $.99. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() Wow, I'm really surprised. I Loooooooooove my iPad. I'm totally a PC too. I LOVE having my library on it. Maybe it's iPad 1 vs 2?

| ![]() I LOVE my IPAD- I always have it with me. But I still can't use it for organization- I need to see everything written out and be able to scratch things out and add things quickly.

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() You guys should check out OneNote (the app). I haven't used it on my iPhone/iPad. I have it on my work laptop. But seriously, I have such a hard time organizing things, and it's really a snap with OneNote. Well, that and my Outlook calendar.
