Use those wipe off markers on the bathroom mirror. Everything important for the immediate future we need to remember we write on the mirror, once completed it's wiped off. If one of the kids has an appt or something...the night before I write it right at my eye level so I can't put on makeup without reading that first.
Works great for us.
For your hubby write your upcoming birthday on his chest while he's sleeping in lipstick ----> just kidding but I have threatened with it a few times!
