I can't believe I"m replying to this, being a guy and all, but since my wife MAKES me watch it , I thought I'd respond.

I started out liking Ashley, but she's starting to come off as immature. First, she should have said the Roast was a bad idea if she has a thin skin like that. Yeah, the comment that set her off was rude -- but that's the point of a Roast. Good-natured teasing. Obviously he wasn't serious.

And she was sooooo sure about Bentley despite being warned. He is a jerk of epic proportions, for sure, and the show should have bounced him the second he started badmouthing her in interviews. But, c'mon, she's talking about marrying one of these guys, and he was the frontrunner! How could she let herself be fooled, especially when she had a warning?

My guess is she won't end up with any of these guys. She may pick one, but they'll break up within months.

My son watches it too Alaskayorkie! He says he doesn't but I notice he makes his way downstairs during the final hour. Then he proceeds to make fun of the entire thing ~ but he's a pretty funny guy so I don't mind.

PLUS, it has become a little ridiculous and looks really fake these days.

I agree with you on Ashley - she's too immature. If she can't see through Bentley, there's NO hope!

My husband watches too but he much prefers the Bachelor, gee, I wonder why. After last season I wasn't sure if I would watch again. It is the same thing, just different "actors" Ashley comes off so immature and this thing about being afraid the guys would be disappointed that she was the Bachelorette is just soooo dumb. How many times does she have to say this to get the guys to tell her how wrong she is and compliment her. I really don't get what she sees in Bentley. She was warned about him and when she told him what Michelle had said, he just himmed and hawwed. He never denied it. They spent how much time together and she is now all broken up and crying because he left? I think this whole thing is an act on both their parts. Ashley was so much more secure and sure of herself last season. Now she is always having a pity party. Doesn't even appear to be the same woman, or should I say girl. She was on Jimmy Kimmel after the episode aired and she didn't even act like she was upset or mad about it. She said she watched the episode alone and said nothing about being with someone now. I get the feeling she didn't pick anyone.

I don't know how she didn't see through Bentley's act. She was so blind. I understand that he was a smooth talker and she "loved" him, but come on... it was obvious. I could see it was an act. And that hugging/kissing crap when he was saying goodbye was bull. I feel sorry for his daughter down the road when she realizes that she was an excuse for breaking someone's heart. I loved the date with JP. I thought that was amazingly sweet that he didn't expect some big fancy date and that he didn't mind seeing her as her. I think he is a keeper. I'm also glad she gave Will a second chance. He truly looked distraught over what he said and seemed genuinely sorry. I just hope she can get past that comment and really give him and unbiased chance now that she's let him stay.

I hardly ever watch the show, but my neighborhood had a group getting together to watch it every week because Costantine is a local boy. His family owns a restaurant a couple miles from here that our book club frequents. He's a whole lot cuter in person.

I'm still not sure what he wanted to promote, does anyone know what type of business he's in? At least he was better the Wes with Jillian a few seasons back, who wanted to be one of the final three, but didn't want to win. Jillian was head over heels and he bragged about having no feelings for her. I thought JP was a doll, and he seemed so sincere to me in wanting to confort her. He didn't mind the sweats and glasses, and just seemed so real, but I'm not sure she saw the beauty of that. That's my idea of true romance, but she’s still into a guy sweeping her off her feet. I wonder if this show will teach her that her radar isn’t that good? I mean Bentley really seemed like such an obvious a**hole. I think Ashley let go a couple of sincere guys who were just not as aggreesive, and kept so many jerks, but it seems like there are a good few possibilities left. I really feel badly for Ashley, she did a good job explaining how and why she was hurt, and hope she finds someone who really appreciates her for what she is.

By the way, this summer’s Bachelor Pad’s cast is revealed. Michelle will be there, and lots of other “interesting” people. It’s such a mean show, it’s better if you don’t like the contestants. Bachelor Pad 2 cast revealed! Celebrity Chatta

so i watched last night's episode today. wow. she's still hung up on this jackwipe. and he's back in the next episode it seems. what a trash POS. i'm wishing she could realize what he's really all about because she'd get over him faster if she was mad at him. hopfully they are bringing him back to help her realize he hated her and she can get over his sorry a$$ faster. i really really like JP. she's overlooking the heat between them. every time they kiss i get all warm inside. i think he's the hottest and most sensual one on there. don't care for Ryan. he's too fake. Ames is just NOT attractive to me. i like Ben F. and Constantine but get them mixed up all the time. i just think JP is the best guy on here.

Wow, what's wrong with Ames? His brain impressed me the most, and Ashley is a girl who will ultimately want a hubby who can keep up with her. I still love JP, but those two are my favorites. I wonder if the producers will let her see any of the clips of Bentley, or if Ashley will at least call Michelle? I'm anxious to see what she says about all this, but I guess women's intuition is worthless when someone is trying to con you.

I still can't believe the producers haven't let her watch the clips. She still has no idea she was being conned. She must have mentioned Bentley's name 50 times last night.

I think the only reason they'd let Bentley return next week is to apologize and admit he was scamming her. I'd hate to think he had a change of heart and is going to try to get back on the show.

They are just doing it for ratings, but I think it will backfire as I think this is the worst season ever and she is the worst bachelorette. How many times do we have to listen to her comment on how concerned she is that a guy might not be interested in her just so she can here him say how much he really is? Bring back the bachelor. At least the cat fights are more interesting.

I'm with you. I watch because there is nothing else on, and I don't want to go through my Netflix queu so quickly.

She compared every guy to Bently. REALLY??? I wish they would just let her see the vids of everything that guy said to her. I don't understand why everyone hated the last bachelor, at least he was honest vs the a** wipe that is Bentley.

This season is so frustrating. I'm glad Mike is still commentin in this thread. It's nice to see a guys perspective.

he's totally my type personality wise, just not attracted to him. i love his free spirit and adventurous attitude. totally all me

I'm with ya! I wasn't really here nor there about Ames...but then they had their date. He is adorbulous! Smart, worldly, unpretentious, well traveled, kind, funny, guy's guy/girl's guy -- he was just cool. I love it that he previously traveled to Thailand on his own.

I loved it that he went to a cooking school! Also he said he wasn't looking for his double, someone didn't have to be as spontaneous as he was, but they just had to understand it.
