Oh that was interesting, and she gives a good account of it. He really doesn't show his "bad" side to her, he was very supportive, and even his excuse for leaving was a good one, "he wanted to be with his daughter." So I agree with Ashley when she says she isn't looking for a bad boy, however, anybody who dates Bentley after seeing that, is definitely looking for a bad boy, a real scum bucket. I'm just sorry he has a little girl who will know what a jerk her dad is some day.

I had to laugh when I read that Ashley thinks a roast is an "equal balance of being funny and complimentary at the same time." She's never watched Comedy Central roasts if she thinks that, they are funny and insulting at the same time, why did she think complimentary? Anyway, I think Bentley roast was actually more what Ashley expected, he said something about being flat, but with an ass like that he didn't mind. Anyway, the guy knows women and what they want to hear.

I think this is he worst installment of the bachelor/bachelorette show. From what I can tell from the teaser, Ashely has toyed with all the men on that show. I hope she either gets past her bentley infatuation and apologizes immensely or finally let's the men go. I feel bad for all 7 of them there, especially JP. He seems to be the one that has honest feelings for her, and tries to comfort her. It actually makes me mad.

I couldn't agree with you more. The whole Bentley thing is out if control and very annoying to watch as a viewer. I'm also not sure if it's her or the producers coming up with ideas for group activities, but a roast and then having all the men beat the crap out of eachother doesnt seem like a great way to get to know them!

Yes. That has to be the worst way to try to get to know anyone. You bond with people over a meal, drinks, a game of pool.... Really, anything else that isn't beating the ____ out of each other.

I don't think she ends up with anyone. In the past, in previews, they show the Bachelorette/Bachelor standing with someone at the end when they propose. I don't recall seeing anything like that in any of the previews. I don't think she can get past Bentley, at least in the short time that is left for her to be with the other guys. She doesn't see the side of Bentley that we do. I totally understand how she is feeling. I dated someone that I was crazy in love with immediately. It took a really long time to get over him and I questioned every relationship after because I didn't have those strong intense feelings. I never experienced anything like that before or after. The good news is that I love my husband dearly and I was willing to recognize that love shows itself in many different ways and emotions. I really do feel for her and I blame the producers for not showing her the videos right away.

Roberto caught my heart the last bachelorette...and I keep comparing all these men to Roberto just like Ashley uses Bentley as the common denominator...

I felt so bad for Ames. My gosh, that could've been so much worse. Concussions can change you for life too . Ashley didn't seem sympathetic *at all* during the evening - why wasn't she at the hospital being with him? And then she said "well, let's not let what happened to Ames ruin our evening" ---- what???!!!

Agreed on the comments about the activities this year. Somebody should be fired. I wish one -- or all -- of the guys would have just said ENOUGH and refused to participate. What a way to screw up the mood of the house. Guys will fight to protect a woman, but it's foolish to ask them to fight to impress a woman.

As for the whole flying Bentley to hong Kong thing, couldn't they have done it with a phone call? He singlehandedly ruined the show by lying to her, and they're going to reward him with a trip? I think at this stage, the producers know the show is a flop and she's not going to choose anyone, so they're milking it for as long as they can. The trailers last week made it seem like he was going to be there this week, now we have to wait another week. Regardless, I think all the guys should just walk off. She's not going to get over Bentley that fast.

I was furious after that show, what was she thinking????? She could have vetoed the fight. This was not what I consider martial arts, which can be very beautiful to watch, this was aggressive fighting, and to throw a brilliant man like Ames into the ring was unconscionable. Does she think men with brains grow on trees? It makes me sick he couldn't get his thoughts together after the fight, and I agree she didn't seem a bit sympathetic. I hate guys fighting over or for any girl, and I don't understand any women who views it as a compliment. She’s too insecure and she much shallower than I thought originally. She’s one of those girls who say men view only the outside, and then she does the very same thing.

I always laugh when the Bachelor or Bachelorette says that they planned the date. I'm sure it is the producers that make the plans and the cast are required to follow along. Most likely in the contract. I agree about being furious at the show. This was the most ridiculous "date" they have come up with. I am already committed to this season but will only watch if it is the Bachelor in the future.
