I'm with ya! I wasn't really here nor there about Ames...but then they had their date. He is adorbulous! Smart, worldly, unpretentious, well traveled, kind, funny, guy's guy/girl's guy -- he was just cool. I love it that he previously traveled to Thailand on his own.
