I had been one to believe that this had to be an accident. My opinion wasn't because I like Casey Anthony or that I feel sorry for her (because neither is true!). It has just been too much for my brain and heart to process. I listened to the aunt in an interview tonight on the Nancy Grace show and she said some of the same things that I had already heard, but also added some new things. She did say that Cindy's mom had told her (the aunt) that they found out that Casey had been stealing from the grandfather's nursing home account. Cindy and Casey basicially got into a knock-down-drag-out fight that evening and Cindy said that she was fed up with all of Casey's stealing and that it had been going on too long and that she planned to have her arrested. It was the next day that was the last time that anyone ever saw Caylee. I now really do believe that this was intentional....and I think justice will be served if the jurors see this as well. |

Did anyone notice that this morning that Casey has on make-up? I don't recall seeing her with it on before. Now I'm just waiting to hear what her lawyer has to say in his closing. Jeff Ashton did a good with his. |
I just think that anyone who can bend over the form of a little child and put duct tape over their face anywhere - let alone over the mouth and nose - piece after piece after piece - on that sweet little face of that living little baby - piece after piece after piece - on a living creature - is deliberately and with malice aforethought and thinking about each piece - intending to place it there for one express purpose - did it deliberately and thought well about it as they did it. WHO could place duct tape on a child's face but a true killer! Can anyone imagine bending ove their own child and putting that tape over its little face?!?! Anyone who could do that has got to be a monster of the worst kind. These type often kill again. I hope little Caylee gets some justice. I fear it will only be about 15 years for that woman, though, maybe because of just one juror. |
Something that I was telling my husband last night was that if she had accidentially died, after using the Chloroform, Caylee's jaw would have been relaxed. I was telling him that I would be curious to know if her jaw was shut tight or not. This would show that the tape had been placed BEFORE she died. I wondered if this was ever brought up during the case. To my surprise, Aston made a quick reference to this very thing in his closing when he mentioned the mandible. I wish that he would make a point to elaborate on this during his rebuttal. |

Pointed to him during closing and referred to him as "this smiling...." (I forget exact word). Judge called him up to sidebar immediately and 15 minute break was taken w jurors excused and both Ashton and Baez going into chamber. |
Sorry, exact words were "this laughing guy right here" as he pointed at Ashton. |
If Baez doesn't soon wrap up his closing argument, I can't take this on and on! I wonder what the jury thinks? |
I think Baez is wearing out his listeners. If you can't say it in 2 hours, you are too wordy! |
