| ![]() Be aware that they are saying tick season maybe really bad this year. I know of at least 3 instances that people have found ticks already. 1. girl at work had one crawling up her neck while at work 2. dtr found one on her bed Both have dogs that run outside 3. My dh has several skin tags on his side. Last night he took his shirt off and sat down on the bed to fix his alarm. I had my glasses off and thought he had a new skin tag on his back. I told him it had grown really fast, thinking skin cancer. I looked real close (blind w/o glasses) and told him it was a fat tick. He did not believe me and went and looked in mirror. He then agreed it was a tick that had been there a while. Grossed me out, it was grey and fat. No tweezers in the house so called dtr next door and she came and got it off him. Hubby's nerves bothered him the rest of the night. My dogs do not go outside except when we are holding them (pee pads are used inside). He had to have gotten it in the yard. Now watching for signs of diseases. CREEPY....! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Ticks are gross.... we have 'em bad here. I'd never keep Jackson inside because of them though. Unfortunately, they are a part of life around here so we just have to deal. I am always sure he's on preventative care and K9 Advantix seems to work really well for us. He had Lymes last year while on Frontline and it was treated with antibiotics. He's a dog and would be miserable being cooped up inside all the time because of a few pesky insects.

| ![]() They are SOOOOOO gross! I am always feeling my scalp for them since my dogs DO go out and they do sleep in our bed. I found a dead one in the bed last week and I found a live one crawling on my arm the other night. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! I use frontline on the dogs and luckily that seems to work, plus we mow the grass low which helps too. There are no trees in the yard the dogs go into either and only 1 bush in the corner they don't really go near. But yeah ticks are NASTY! ![]()

| ![]() We have them here also. My dogs have a dog run where they go to the bathroom. I also take them to a dog park. I am checking them All the time....! I have found one on myself, in fact two on my leg. Scared the crap out of me. I use Advantix on all my dogs, but still have to keep checking.
