| Help for Tornado Affected Pets in North Alabama As I'm sure all of you know, the tornadoes which swept through the nation almost 2 weeks ago left a trail of devastation and destruction in their wake. In Alabama hundreds of pets who were separated from their owners have been turned into shelters. Needless to say the shelters quickly became overwhelmed with the sudden surge of animals to care for. If anyone is interested in helping with their needs, information can be found here: Decatur and Huntsville Animal Services collecting pet food - WAFF.com: North Alabama News, Radar, Weather, Sports and Jobs- The images in the media really cannot do justice to what is going on down here. We feel so blessed to only have had minor roof damage, but those 1 mile north of us were not so lucky. Please consider helping. |

| I hope they are all saved. It's heartbreaking to see so many pets in need.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Another *wonderful* place to donate is Noah's Wish. This is a charity who goes to natural disasters in the U.S. and Canada - equipped to rescue lost/abandoned pets and reunite them w/ their families. The played a big part in Katrina and other disasters. It's one of my favorite charities: Noah's Wish Saving Animals in Disasters
