| My oldest son plays baseball on a mens' league and has a game Mother's Day morning. So we will go for breakfast and then to his game. Then he has work after the game. Then I will be with my younger son and we will go to the cemetery to visit my mother, grandma, and aunts. The rest of the day I don't know. Maybe I will get together with my aunt and cousins. Happy Mother's Day to all!! |

| Sammy Mommy- That sounds nice. I love the part of you going to visit your Mom, I will usually go put flowers on my Grandmas site and tell her I love and miss her. Off topic I always go and see my Dad and put flowers for him on fathers day (SIGH) It is a hard thing to do, but I know they appricate it! I hope you have a wonderful Mothers day! And also a Furbaby Mothers day as well bc we are Momma's to them J_is_my_initial- Sounds perfect, I wish my Mom was that easy, Money is tight around here as well, I got a really good deal on the dozen of roses they were 19.99!! Plus my Mom has 2 wonderful kitty's that love to eat anything I give her!! I googled if roses were harmful to cats and couldn't find anything saying there were, just in case!! I figure who doesnt love to be delivered roses? I think the surprise of that alone will make her cry! I also put on the card that it was from Me and my DH my brother and his wife, and baby Lilah so I know she will love it coming from all of us! Also my SIL is getting her a coffee mug with Lilah on it, that will be her G-ma Mothers day gift from her grand daughter JESSY_RN2B- Great minds think a like!!

| lovespandp: My sister who lives with them (due to health reasons) tends to buy flowers esp roses for her every so often. Mom has told me they kinda make her sad cause they eventually die. She would much rather get fake flowers if not the ones she told me she wants.

| My sister and I usually go in on something for my mom for Mother's Day- this way only one of us really has to come up with an idea each year, LOL! I think we are going to do perfume and a gift card this year but we haven't finalized our plans yet. I also ordered a really nice personalized card with my own photos from Mothers Day Cards, Baby Shower Invitations, & Business Cards by Tiny Prints

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My sister and her family, my son, DIL, and daughter and my husband are going out for breakfast. Money is tight for all of us so we figure breakfast will be the cheapest way to go. My cousin and her husband are visiting from the UK so they will be with us also.I always tell my kids not to get me anything but a card since they are both struggling financially but they always get me something. Friday we went to the cemetery to show my cousin my Mom and Dads grave sites and visit. The last time they were here, 6 years ago both my parents were alive. So sad. Everyone who still has their parents give them an extra hug.

| I'm going to make chocolate covered strawberries. I know that sounds a bit strange, but my mom is the pickiest peerson in the world. It doesn't help that she is extremely hard to please. For examPle, my mom lives roses, but when I buy her some, she freaks. She gets really mad because we wasted money on flowers that will due in a week. We then don't spend money on her as a consequence. She gets mad about that too because she thinks we forgot about her. So this year, being recently unemployed, I brought up the topic. I just so happen to be looking at a food magazine. She pointed to the chocolate covered strawberries and said, "I've never had those before." I will be making her those. Not much money spent, and she will appreciate the effort. I hope this is a winner.

| Patti- Sounds like you are going to be busy, but Im happy you are able to see some of your family on that day! CouversMom- Well so far, Perfume, flowers, candy, breakfast, ohh or you can make her dinner!!! Come on girl get to thinking!! DvlshAngel985- LOL I was going to make them, but it looked to hard, then I was going to order them on sheriberries.com or something but I got to thinking, how good and fresh can they be?? So I changed my mind! It would be hard for me to make those are two of my favorite things, I would def eat more than anything!! Haha. It sounds like it is a perfect match for your Mom, esp YOU are making them and she never had them!! Good luck I hope they turn out good!! You should have Kaji come in with a fake rose in his mouth and take it to her!! haha

| My four sister's and I almost always get my mom something for the yard....every single year! Chairs, flowers, gazing balls, solar lights...and I'm sick of being so predictable! The thing is, I don't know what else to get her!
