My Texas

Just saw this thread!! Lot of laughs.. was going to quote just about all of them!!

I understand the love of Texas... I LOVE being southern.. it is who I am.
I had my children in south Florida (which is NOT southern at all!!!!!!!) and my oldest could not wait to move to the south. She landed in Texas - Austin. She loves Texas!!! We have visited her and my step daughter in Ft.Worth.
I would say the land looks flat but the people are great.

Now.. my heart belongs to the hill county in east Tenn. or south west Virginia.
Love the people, the food (well... once you get them not to fry lol) and just the sound of the voices. Now I am really home sick!! I will never live there again, my home is where my dh or my children are. But I still have memories.

I love Florida! One of our trips there I spent a couple days in Mt. Sinai w/concussion and had to fly right back but love the Sunshine State.
