I have 3 children two daughters and one son.
I have two grandchildren and two due this year!! Both my daughters are pregnant.

I take care of my granddaughter after school, she's 8, have cared for her since she was 6 weeks old.
My grandson moved to N Carolina last year and I miss him terribly. I took care of him from 8 weeks to 3yrs when they moved. They're coming for a visit next week to celebrate his 4th birthday.

I love to sew, read, draw, cook.

I am taking part in the Susn G. Komen 3 Day for the Cure, this will be my 5th year.

Shadow is my first Yorkie. While we have had dogs before, we always had Labs and I always had a cat. She was 17 when she passed last year, that's when I decided to get a Yorkie.

That's all I can think of for now.

My name is Katy. I am 23 years old. I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in May 2010. Go Heels! I am now a full-time grad student, and will graduate with my master's degree in social work next year.

I am originally from a small town, but I am convinced I am meant to live in a big city. I am obsessed with hot pink, Dexter, good coffee, and, of course, my Levi. I am somewhat of a book hoarder - I would rather buy them than borrow them from a library. I read all the time. If I could be anything in the world, I would be some sort of artist - but I am entirely too practical to be a starving artist...thus the social worker plan.

My favorite people in the world include my boyfriend Alex and my younger brother. They are in the pictures below.

First picture is me on my college graduation day last May. Second is my brother and me in Myrtle Beach, SC in March. Last picture is my boyfriend and me in front of the White House - this picture always makes me laugh. We look ridiculous.

Well, my name is Brittany and I am 20 years old. I was born in Annapolis, MD and have lived in the surrounding cities of it my whole life but I want to move to South or North Carolina in the near future. I am currently enrolled in community college and close to an associates degree, but not quite there yet. I've been through a lot in my life, but I tend to think of myself as a strong, mature person capable of handling it. My 5 year old brother died in 2006 a few months shy of my 16th birthday (and a few weeks shy of his 6th) and that was clearly the hardest struggle I've dealt with so far. I was really close to him and got depressed for a while... I got Jackson a few months after my 18th birthday and he changed my world. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I have an amazing father, who got re-married semi-recently but has been with his wife for the past 10yrs. She has a daughter, therefore I have a step-sister who I am not close to in any way whatsoever. I'm a daddys girl. I have a mom who is 100% opposite of me but I love her anyways. She is married to my step-dad but their marriage has been on the rocks for a long time now. She's made a lot of mistakes that have affected my life, but I forgive her, and I wouldn't be the same person w/o experiencing them. I have 3 amazing siblings... Connor (RIP - 2000-2006), Camron (7yrs old) and Emma (3yrs old). They are my world! Family in general is super dysfunctional, but we are pretty close, in our own way. I do, however, have an AMAZING "second family" who I love VERY dearly... they sort of adopted me as their own.

I'm a tomboy, I love wearing my hoodies and my jeans. I've always been that way. Was into sports as a kid, softball, basketball and tennis specifically. I always was a dog freak, I was the kid who had the dog breed info books, who wanted to go into Petsmart instead of the clothing stores, and had every dog action figure/toy/movie ever created, LOL. I enjoy going to the movies, having good conversation (and debates! ), going camping, traveling (I've been to a lot of places already!), I like walking, going to the beach, hanging with my pooch, dog training is a huge passion of mine... I dunno, I can't think of what else to add.
So, how old were you when you joined YT? 17!!! Brit, you are so mature for your age!! You have lot's of good things coming your way!

Wow 5 pages already and this thread just started today. I guess everyone likes talking about themselves - LOL!!!

Anyway...........HI!!! My name is Cally

I am 48 years old, happily married, celebrated our 30th anniversary this past June.

We have 4 kids. OK don't fall off your seats, but our first one is 30 yrs old, our second is 28, our third is 16 and our youngest little surprise is 7. I truly believe God doesn't give you more than you can handle and my little one is sure testing that - LOL!

I was born in Brooklyn and moved to Long Island when I got married at the ripe old age of 17.......... but by then I had graduated high school at 16 and worked at the Federal Reserve for a year.

I grew up in a very overprotected, strict GREEK family environment (hence the young age of marriage). Married GREEK! Well if anyone has seen the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" well.........that was my life - but I had no choice - I had to marry Greek (no regrets), with the exception of the Windex (never understood that).

My husband and I own and successfully run our own commercial construction company for the past 28 years. Keep in mind - I do not recommend working with your spouse - bur for some reason it works for us. Well lets say we go to bed speaking to each other 50 percent of the time. LOL!

Our first yorkie was over 25 years ago. Fell in love with the breed and Coco and Beckham are our 3rd and 4th yorkies and know that we will always have yorkies till the day I die.

Loved reading about everyone's lives and surprised to see the ages of some of you. Some come across as being more mature.

Keep it up everyone! Loved this thread.

Great website. Is "Frida and and The Hunk" referring to Frida Kahlo? She was such a fascinating artist.

Alright, I'll give this a shot.

Hello Everyone! I'm Jenni.
~I'm 28, and a Pharmacist.
~I earned my Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) at the age of 23 and am so glad I stuck with it.
~I would describe my relationship with my family as complicated, however, I love my 2 younger sisters dearly!
~My boyfriend is also a pharmacist and we've been together for 7 years and have no intentions of getting married. We have a house and our furbabies and are happy with things the way they are
~I love traveling for vacations, we don't really make plans before we arrive at our destination, we just go with the flow.
~I love junk food! Its a food group for me
~I'm an extremely pickie eater... probably the reason I love junk food.
~I love Mt. Dew!
~I have alot of what I call hobbies... scrap booking, sewing, drawing, knitting, photography, hiking, traveling...
~I'm addicted to Yorkie Talk
~I love animals more than I love people sometimes

Ok, I think I rambled enough for now, thanks for starting this thread. I'm enjoying learning a bit about everyone.
