Donating YT 11K Club Member | Dealing with those other set of parents I am not sure if there has been a thread about this topic. But for those of you with Significant others..do you get along with his or her parents? If their parents are not very nice, are nosy and love getting in your business, telling you what to do.. how do you deal with it??

| As a parent of a 20 yr old daughter & an 18 yr old son, I can tell you that our nosiness & getting in your business usually comes from that fact that we love our kids more than anything else in the world. To us they are always our babies & we want to protect them no matter how old they are, and we want the absolute best possible for them and want them to avoid mistakes we've made & benefit from our knowledge & life experiences. I try my hardest to bite my tongue, be confident in the job I did parenting, and watch my kids make their way in the world through their own choices & decisions, and only give my input when asked for it...but sometimes I slip

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Not really...same guy :/ lol However we aren't going out. But it's really stressful bcuz his parents..or should i say just his dad(and i understand parents do things cause they care) but his dad outdoes himself. He really does. My parents are the same way..they will say things that are of concern to them about me or my relationships but in this case it has nothing to do with him, and it's reeeeaaaally hard and stressful.
