As a parent of a 20 yr old daughter & an 18 yr old son, I can tell you that our nosiness & getting in your business usually comes from that fact that we love our kids more than anything else in the world. To us they are always our babies & we want to protect them no matter how old they are, and we want the absolute best possible for them and want them to avoid mistakes we've made & benefit from our knowledge & life experiences. I try my hardest to bite my tongue, be confident in the job I did parenting, and watch my kids make their way in the world through their own choices & decisions, and only give my input when asked for it...but sometimes I slip
