I am a HUGE Russell fan. No one has ever played the game as well as him. Unfortunately it is a popularity contest and not a Survivor contest. If it were, Russell would have won both times.
I don't think he can change his game that much, just enough to make the tribe believe he has changed his game.
I thought Boston Rob was the most irritating person on his first Survivor season and then found that he has changed and seems like a very decent guy. I still can't stand his accent though...and I'm from NY!!!!! LOL
Phillip is there for entertainment and it was hysterical when he threw "Franchesqua" and Kristina under the Boston Rob Bus!!!

Just finished watching it on Hulu.
I have to agree with all of you..this was a great 1st episode. How crazy is that phil? I cannot wait for the next one. Hopefully I will not be studying...

How True! Although the kid Fabio who won last time was a nice guy...well not so much nice... as just quasi there, invisible!

Do you remember when Rufus was on and his brand new jeans chafed his so badly he had to wear a slapped together skirt?

And there is ALWAYS someone in a suit and tie when they first land!

I think they spring it on them when it is time to go and what they are wearing is what the end up with. That is how it would be in the real world of surviving catastrophe at sea.

If I went on the show I would make sure I had a two piece swim suit on under my clothes all the time prior to leaving for the location. I see a lot of bra and panties don't you?

He was CLUELESS....the only reason he won was because he was so dumb that people forgot about him and didn't consider him a threat. That nice dummy was laughing all the way to the bank!!

Yes, I just read where they tell them they are going to a photo shoot and then wisk them away to the island.

I'm with you...I would always be prepared. NO underwear once I knew I was going to be on that show.

I have mine set for all of the episodes.....BUT matters not because there is no way I will not be in front of my television tonight! haha

A friend of mine was visiting me last night and we sat and watched last weeks episode...I honestly could watch it again. Very entertaining! Actually some things jumped out at me that I did not catch before...I think because I now know how it ends up. Good stuff!
