I'm not sure I like the whole aspect of redemption island. I think the dynamic of it with the rest of the game is a little distracting or something. I don't know.

Wouldn't it be interesting if they had everyone that is voted off stay until they got down to the final 2 and then had them compete to see who will be in the final 3?

I like the idea. I personally think if the 3 girls on Rob's tribe were smart, when it gets to the point where there is only Julie left on the other tribe, and I am pretty sure she will be the only one left at some point, they talk her into forming an all girl alliance. They should then talk just loud enough that Rob hears them planning to vote him off, forcing him to play the idol. But they actually should vote for Grant getting rid of one guy and getting rid of the idol at the same time. Then vote Rob off, then Phillip, then Julie. This would leave the 3 of them in the final. Not quite sure what plans they have for Redemption Island, but at some point the 3 girls should have the power. Unfortunately for them, I don't think they are smart enough to figure that out.

I don't think that the girls are smart enough to do that either. I don't like the way that they all follow Rob's commands. It seems like he is the puppet master in the entire tribe. I was glad to see Grant get some fish even though Rob told him not to. I cannot stand Philip. He is an absolute goof ball if I have ever heard one. I think he needs his head examined.

I'm wondering what's going to happen next. Rob's in a hard spot, he's done some things I've never seen before, such as making them pair up, which I thought was ingenious, but now people are going to start figuring out that Rob's popular, and they don't really want to be in the final three with him, I think almost everyone will want to vote him off soon. He still has an idol, but will he use it? I don't think you have to play a "great" game to get his far, but you can't play a really bad game either, with the exception of Phillip!

Remind me never to go on Survivor with you! That would work. I think the girls have got to make that move sooner or later if they hope to beat Rob. They must have discussed it. The pairing up is genius. I think the other tribe's right. There's a cultlike or mafialike allegiance to Rob.

He is totally following the original puppetmaster Will Kirby from Big Brother (and I found out last night that they are friends so I'm going to say that Will probably gave Rob some tips on controlling the group). He is good!!

Soooooo, very interesting episode tonight! I am still really surprised by the lack of reward challenges. It is such a great way to stir things up...really thought there would be one tonight.

And Phillip....oh man....that guy is really losing it! It's actually sad to watch someone behave that way. Julie hiding the shorts was hilarious. I didn't know she had it in her to be so mean.

Matty....that poor boy is struggling. Redemption island is cleary a lot more depressing and stressful than we realize.

Can't wait till next week!!!

Oh my goodness, that was some Survivor last night.

Phillip getting all upset about not being able to put the rice in the container. But, first he steals rice. Go figure.

I did feel bad for him when his shorts were stolen.

Should be interesting next week.

Honestly, I felt bad for him several times. The guy clearly has mental difficulties. When Jeff was talking to him at TC you could see how emotional he was. I think Jeff was feeling bad for him too. They only show so much...Phillip looked like he was about to cry and everyone else looked quite somber.

Ho-Hum! BORING! NO ONE is playing the game...except ROB. Boo to Survivor this season.

Julie was great hiding the shorts but stinks that she got voted out. I'm not sure why she got voted out. Philip my friends is going to the final 2 or 3 with Rob. Unless of course Matt can pull himself together...then it would be interesting!

Phillip isn't going anywhere now (what a fruitloop)...whoever goes to the final will take Phil with them, cause no one will vote for him. and I think that will be Rob. Rob's a smart cookie and in complete control...LOL

The man really does have problems. He just doesn't make a lot of sense and talks in circles. I don't think it is a cover either. I think he is really crazy! And scary!

Not me! I thought he deserved it running around in his baggy ol pink jockeys. I loved it when Julie raised her hand and shouted that she hid the shorts!

It would be a wild finale to see Rob, Phil and Mattie in the final three, but I don't think Rob will take him that far. He will eventually have to let the girls vote him off in order to keep everyone from voting for him. That is one save and he still has an imunity idol too doesn 't he?

I did see that and I also saw him saying that God was pulling him through. That's a pretty powerful ally

I think that Rob decided at the last minute to vote her out because she hid the shorts. I think he made some kind of signal to his tribemates that she was who they were to vote for. He did this in a previous episode. Had she not confessed, I think she would have still been there and Steve would have been gone.
