I do have a question for someone who knows this show well. I'm confused about the idols. Is there only one immunity idol? Why did he throw away that clue last nite? Wouldn't it be beneficial for him to have several idols or is that not possible?

They usually only have 1 idol in play for each tribe...and Rob has it...and they won't hide another until Rob plays that one.

Yeah, the getting them early (Ralph has the other) and hanging on to them, kinda takes some of the fun out of the equation. I sort of miss the ""it's a stick with a face on it!!!!" rants! Nobody is being creative anymore.

I do not agree that he plays like Russell. Russell was honest and rude. And that is what people hated about him.
Rob is SNEAKY. The ultimate in sneaky. IMO. Oh, and now that he has lost some weight in his face, I am liking the view. : )

I too believe that Matt has earned his place back into the game. And it would be quite interesting to see what lengths Rob would go to to vote Matt out again.

I think Matt wins. Sarita is a JOKE.

Nope, not yet...no one knows he has it...and I think that is a good play...if they knew he had it, he would have a target on his back.

I hope Matt goes all the way but...than I hope Rob does too...I'm like all over the place with those two...can't make up my mind on which yet LOL....I don't think Matt is going to be able to get ruthless....like Rob and Russell...and that might be his down fall...but we will see.

I love merge time also. This season I think we need it. There isn't as much drama going on at this point. I think that is why Philip is still there.
I don't remember a player never sharing the info that he/she had the idol. I always yell at the TV, don't share it, don't share it. So, I'm excited to see what happens.
As far as matt goes, I like him, but nice guys usually finish last. Boo.

On the flip side, I was ALL for Russell in his 1st 2 seasons and was sad to see him go this time.

Grant doesn't know that Rob has the idol. He just knows that Rob has a clue. Rob and Ralph are both smart enough not to tell anyone.

Last season Fabio stayed under the radar, was a nice guy, and won. I think we might see Grant or Mike win as they haven't gotten much TV time, meaning they are not making any waves, but are still strong competitors.

Whenever a merge happens, I never understand why the women from both tribes don't form an alliance and vote out the guys. I think that would make for some interesting TV, the claws would come out if there were just females left, plus there would be noone left to do the work. Unfortunately, it can't happen this season because there are only 4 plus Sarita left. Not enough to vote out the guys without it being obvious, then they would all be gone. Unless, if it gets to the point that there is an even number of males and females, then the girls could blindside the guys. It would be a smart move for Julie as I think she would kick a** in the challenges against those wimpy girls. Hmmmmmm. Nope, these girls aren't that smart.
