IMO that was a smart move on her part...if I had a choice of any of that tribe, I would have aligned myself with him. He plays the game...puts his all into it...and if you get to the end with him, you are a winner! He just would never get the jury votes.

I agree that it was a smart strategy. It was just that she was so snarky about it, and continued to be right after the vote.

I honestly don't think she could have been any different. She admitted this past week that it is difficult for her to fake being nice to someone she does not like. Personally, I would rather deal with her than the phonies.

I'm the same way. But it just seems that there would be someone she would like a little, besides just russell and the blonde. Although admittedly there is a generational thing going on. I don't know. I don't deal well with phonies but I don't handle people who are seemingly hateful just for the sake of hatefulness either. I'd admittedly make a lousy player.

I think she would do well on the other team....if she can survive until the merge she might do ok. She did try to set that up.

They didn't show him the clue until they realized that he saw them with it. Then he came over and they shared it with him. They should have been a little quicker on the uptake.

I think you are probably right. Phillip was upset that Rob and Grant didn't share the clue with him, at least this was my impression. In the previews for this week, Rob says that he might be on the chopping block. Wonder if he will have to use the immunity idol.

Okay, I see what you mean. I guess I misunderstood what Philip was saying; I didn't realize he was upset. He was going into some sort of "stealth" mode? They would have been smart to give the clue to him, and let him guard it, or maybe one of the previous clues. Honestly, anyone who can spend a week with Philip deserves a million dollars.

Exactly, He was telling the camera that he has plans because he now sees them as a threat.

On another note...for some reason he doesn't seem to realize that the girls have the numbers even though Rob brought that to his attention (and he noted that at tribal too)
He continues to treat them with disrespect as if they are insiginficant. hmmmmmm
If Rob counters that it will go a long way.

well, if you combine the unsuccessful attempt at hiding the clue with this weeks refusal to give him any of Rob's crispy rice. There is now lots of reason for Philip to seriously hate hate hate.... I mean, let's face it... the crispy rice incident probably put it right over the edge... how dare those girls deny him any, even a teaspoon, of crispy rice..

OK, I have to finally admit to myself and everyone else that I have a huge crush on Boston Rob. That evil little smile he had on his face after tossing the next clue into the volcano cinched it. He is quite the bad boy, but he is honest about it.

The outcome of the immunity challenge is really important next week with the merge coming.

What do you think Matt's chances are next week with a seriously cut foot? AND the winner of the redemption island challenge is going back to the merged tribes! I have kinda been hoping that Matt makes it all the way to the end. He certainly has fought for that hasn't he!

I don't know how you can call Rob honest. He is Russell with a smile on his face....absolutely NO difference. Now, that is not saying I don't like him....I like the way he is playing the game. Adds interest....as did Russell. I LOVE that his tribe has imploded the way it has....they were all so stupid.
I am thinking Grant might have a real good shot at this.

OMG I love me some Boston Rob. He is so Dr. Will from Big Brother!!! I hope he can win this but with the merge they could all end up turning on him (but he does have an idol so that will save him one week).

I do have a question for someone who knows this show well. I'm confused about the idols. Is there only one immunity idol? Why did he throw away that clue last nite? Wouldn't it be beneficial for him to have several idols or is that not possible?
