| I think it is very pretty and very appropriate with today's styles. Great choice! My son graduated in 2010 so I am fairly up-to-date on prom wear. In fact, I can think of 3 of the girl's dresses having different colored verisons with sort-of-animal prints in them. Love that look! One of my faves was a gorgeous hot pink, black & white dress and we found a perfectly matched hot pink dress shirt for my son. He gt big kudos for being manly enough to pull off the hot pink. He was happy because it had french cuffs and he has a thing for cuff links. Here is his senior prom date. His tie was made from the same material as his girlfriend's dress. I thought that was a nice touch. See what you think (sorry, I can't pass up any opportunity to show off pics of my good-lookin' son -- and his date is beautiful too!). He actually got to model his tux and got it 1/2 price at the local clothing store that rented tuxes. Be sure to post pics of your daughter when she wears her dress! I LOVE looking at all the prom pics. Here they started wearing short dresses for homecoming but still very fancy and then they wear long dresses for Beau Dance (always around Vsalentine's Day & Girls ask the Boys) and Prom. One thing I really missed having all boys was the epic shopping trips for girls' dance dresses. I think that is why I made up for it with as many personal touches for my sons as they would allow.

| Couldn't add in time...... I was going to photo shop the grass that went in front of them out of the pic but never got around to it. She might want to help her date a little in tux selection. It should be easy enough for him to find a tie or shirt in that gorgeous green from her dress. A tux in dark brown or off white would be best to show off her dress in pics. Although a standard black tux is supposed to go with everything....I think it would look best with one of the other two colors I mentioned. My first go around, I was completely in need of help. Luckily the girl's mom was helpful right off the bat and gave me more than the usual tiny swatch of material. She even directed me to the best stores and current trends. By the time my youngest son was a senior, I was a pro at picking the most striking manly components to help showcase his date. It becomes an art form -- even getting as creative with flowers as you can too! Wrist corsages can be as simple or as intricate as you like. I left all the choices up to my boys' dates but I liked to give them some specialty choices too. I loved all this (can't you tell?) and am already missing it this year. Sort of like reliving my high school years. I don't know why they don't have proms in college?
