| I totally agree, some of them were very pitchy. I guess my favorites last night were Scotty, Stefano and Thia. I though Paul was awful. He can do so much better. I hate the way he staggers around the stage. James and Jacob are really good, I'm just not so much into their music choices.

| I just listened to everyone again and Pia was very good. I thought Casey was down right awful. I hated that song. It will be interesting to see who goes home tonight.

| I missed a couple of them, but was definitely disappointed in some that I saw. I'll be surprised if the elimination isn't Naima tonight.

| I was disappointed that Karen got voted off. I think she has a much better voice than some of the others. I guess the judges did not save her because they felt she would probably not go much further in the competition if they did saved her.

| i freaking love Hailey and can't stand that Randy keeps shutting her down. a great artist doesn't have to conform to one genre all the time. she's got an incredible voice and a very unique sound. who cares what song she picks it's always so interesting to listen to...i'd buy an album from her in a heartbeat!! i also like Scotty and Pia is good, and i like Paul for originality and that scruffy guy that plays bass. |

| I was hoping she would have gone home this week. She is my least favorite of all of them.

| I was too. But, wasn't surprised that Karen did....not that she doesn't have a great voice....but, was making too much of a political statement with the cross-over thing. She should have held back with it until later.

| I didn't think Karen should have gone home. I like Scotty, Pia and James the best. The talent is better this year.

| It's interesting how Randy keeps picking on Haley for being all over the place with her song choices. I would imagine they don't have much creative control once they are signed under the American Idol brand name. I think shes always on key and pleasant to listen to and she's pretty too. Pia of course is blowing it out of the water, it's almost unfair how good she is. I still love Casey but he needs to keep it with the bluesy jazzy stuff. I wish Scotty wasn't so corny looking up there but he's gonna go far as long as he keeps to singing well known country songs. I'm getting kind of tired of listening to Jacob over do it on the songs, he needs to pull it back a little because he's gonna just annoy people. I'm a sucker for the underdog so I'm really rooting for Stefano to make it at least to top 5, he's really talented but I think people aren't really taking him seriously enough to vote for him. I think everyone else is kind of coasting. Naima isn't sounding so great these days and Haley hasn't made her self likeable enough to pull the votes she needs to beat out the competition, they are my two picks for going home next week.

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | OK, I was skeptical when people were saying EVERYONE is good this year. But I thought all of them were strong in Motown. My early favorite, the fuzzy guy who plays bass, was actually among my least favorite tonight. If I HAD to pick someone to go home, it would be Stefano.

| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | I really liked Haley the best of the ones I saw. But I thought the costumes were not the best selection for the songs. I also felt they shouldn't have had Haley walk down those steps. She looked like she was afaird to fall (know I would be). She has a great smokey and sometimes rough growl to her voice that goes well with that song genre. Her costume I thought pretty unflattering and she looked like she could barely move in it. Stefano is certainly cute, and I think the song he picked didn't showcase his voice so well.
